AutoSales AI Coach ("we," "our," or "us") operates the AutoSales AI Coach mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully.

When you use our App, you may provide us with:

Profile Information: Your name and email address when you create an account
Industry Selection: Your chosen industry focus (Tech Sales, Automotive, or Real Estate)
Learning Preferences: Your daily practice goal and training preferences
Roleplay Content: Messages and responses you create during AI-powered sales practice sessions
Flashcard Responses: Your answers to sales knowledge questions

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we automatically collect:

Device Identifier: A unique, randomly generated identifier for your device used for anonymous authentication
Usage Data: Information about your interactions with the App, including practice sessions completed, scores achieved, skills progress, XP earned, streaks, and level progression
Performance Metrics: Your scores across sales skill categories (Question Quality, Objection Handling, Call Control, Value Articulation, Next Steps)
Session Information: Timestamps of when you use the App, session duration, and difficulty level

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We respect your privacy and do not collect:

Precise location data or GPS coordinates
Contacts, photos, or files from your device
Financial or payment information (the App is free to use)
Health or biometric data
Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and personalize the App experience, including AI-powered roleplay scenarios tailored to your industry
Track your learning progress, including skills development, XP, levels, and streaks
Generate performance feedback and coaching recommendations based on your practice sessions
Identify areas for improvement and suggest targeted practice exercises
Maintain and improve the App's functionality and user experience
Sync your progress across devices when you use the same account
Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 OpenAI

Our App uses OpenAI's artificial intelligence services to power the roleplay conversations and provide performance scoring. When you engage in a practice session:

Your roleplay messages are sent to OpenAI for AI response generation
Your session transcripts are analyzed by OpenAI to generate performance scores and feedback
OpenAI processes this data according to their privacy policy and data processing terms

We use OpenAI's API with data privacy protections enabled. OpenAI does not use your data to train their models when accessed through their API. For more information, please review OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

3.2 Database Services

We use secure cloud database services (PostgreSQL via Neon) to store your account information and progress data. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

3.3 No Advertising or Analytics SDKs

We do not use third-party advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Storage

Some of your data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage for offline functionality. This includes your current progress, preferences, and session state.

4.2 Server Storage

Your account information, practice history, and progress data are stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL
Encryption of data at rest
Secure authentication using device identifiers
Regular security updates and monitoring

4.3 Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Roleplay transcripts are retained for performance analysis and to enable you to review your practice history. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 6).

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

With Service Providers: We share data with OpenAI solely for the purpose of providing AI-powered features. They are bound by contractual obligations to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
For Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
To Protect Rights: We may disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our users, or others.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Access and Portability

You may update your profile information within the App at any time through the Profile screen.

6.3 Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. To delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at privacy@autosalesaicoach.com. Upon receiving your request, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

6.4 Opt-Out

You may stop all data collection by uninstalling the App. Note that uninstalling does not automatically delete your server-side data; please contact us to request deletion.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@autosalesaicoach.com, and we will delete such information from our systems.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the age limit is 16 unless the member state has provided for a lower age (but not below 13).

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country.

11. App Tracking Transparency

We do not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes. Therefore, we do not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. Your data stays within our App ecosystem and is used solely to provide and improve your learning experience.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.

For material changes that significantly affect your rights or how we use your data, we will provide notice through the App or via email (if you have provided one).
